Smash burger
Cooking Instructions
Stove top: Preheat a cast iron pan or griddle over high heat 71°C (160°F). Add the beef patty to the pan and "smash" down using a sturdy spatula or wooden spoon to apply firm pressure. Season generously with salt and pepper. Cook until no longer pink; use the spatula to scrape the burger from the pan and flip over until cooked. If you’re adding a slice of cheese, continue cooking for 30 seconds (to melt the cheese), then remove from the pan. Add to a bun and dress as you like.
Note: Patties are properly cooked at an internal temperature of 71°C (160°F).
*Varieties include:
Plain and, Bacon & Cheddar. Check your local store for our selection of Ready For You products.
