
Alfredo Sauce
A rich and decadent cream sauce that originated in Rome in the early 20th century, flavoured with garlic and Parmesan cheese. Try it on pasta or as a sauce with pork, chicken or shrimp.
Cooking Instructions
Stovetop:
- Pour sauce with or without pasta into a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan.
- Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden, for 4 to 6 minutes or until hot.
- Toss with your favourite cooked pasta.
Microwave
- Transfer the sauce to a microwave-safe container.
- Cover loosely with a plastic wrap or a microwave-safe lid to prevent splatters.
