Pesto Sauce
A traditional Italian pureed sauce of basil, garlic, almonds, olive oil and Parmesan cheese with a splash of tangy lemon that originated in Genoa, Italy. Try it on pasta, grilled vegetables, pizza or slathered on sandwiches or swirled into soups and stews.
Cooking Instructions
Toss pesto with warm, freshly cooked pasta, allowing the heat from the pasta to gently warm the pesto without cooking it.
