
Pomodoro Sauce
A classic Italian tomato sauce with garlic and fresh herbs that originated in Naples in the 19th century. Try it on pasta, on Chicken or Eggplant Parmesan and with seafood.
Cooking Instructions
Stovetop
- Pour sauce into a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden, for 4 to 6 minutes or until hot.
- Toss with your favourite cooked pasta.
Microwave
- Transfer the sauce to a microwave-safe container.
- Cover loosely with a plastic wrap or a microwave-safe lid to prevent splatters.
- Heat on medium-high in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until the sauce is heated through.
- Toss with your favourite cooked pasta.
