Beef Steaks
BBQ/Grill: Best on the Grill: Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Grease grill. Cook steaks with lid closed for 3-4 minutes per side or to an internal temperature of at least 63°C (145°F) for medium rare. Remove from heat and rest 8-10 minutes.
Oven Broil: Preheat broiler on high. Place steaks on oven-safe tray and place on top rack under broiler. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side to an internal temperature of at least 63°C (145°F) for medium rare. Remove from heat and rest 8-10 minutes.
Stove top to Oven: Preheat oven to 204°C (400°F). Heat oven-proof skillet set over medium-high heat. Cook steaks 2 minutes per side, or until browned on both sides. Transfer skillet to pre-heated oven and cook for 5-8 minutes or to an internal temperature of at least 63°C (145°F) for medium rare. Remove from heat and rest 8-10 minutes.
